Fighting With Satan, Ain't Misbehavin'

Happy Devil Day everybody! This is my offering to you in honor of this holiday. "Satan's Revenge" was put out by New Renaissance Records way back in 1985. It features a spoken word track by Seattle's infamous NME. It is perhaps the most evil element of this comp. I wish they had included a track with music on it too. The singer, Kurt Streubing Killed his mom in 1986 with a hatchet and a pair of scissors. He served 8 years for it and then got out and reformed NME. He died last year in an accident involving his car going through the open draw span of a bridge. Here's an article about him

There's a little section on him over here at some fundamental baptist site warning of "the divine curse upon the rock and roll scene".

I absolutely go nuts for the older metal stuff in all of it's cheesy glory. If anybody knows me, they know that I like to talk about Metal a lot. So, what a perfect day to listen to and talk about Metal. It won't happen for a thousand more years. I'm sure Metal Heads new and old are going to have a hey-day with this holiday. I don't think 6/6/06 stands for anything bad at all. Terrorist attacks, mass murders, the end of the world - Bahh! This day stands for Metal, beer, and laughing at grown men screaming like wailing banshees. Drink one for me and I'll drink one for you.
