DMZ
I found this one for a buck while doing some thrift storing with the pied piper. I came to find out that this was Jeff "Mono Mann" Connolly's band before he formed The Lyres. I never really got into The Lyres too much. I did once find about three or four of their tapes in the alley by where I lived. Their stuff was all hit and miss with me. A few good songs and a few forgettable ones. I suppose I should go back and listen to those tapes and see how they fare today. As for DMZ, It's kinda the same. They didn't blow me away at first listen, but it's growing on me, at least a few of the songs are. This was more 60's punk/ bar band sounding than 70's punk. Just Rock and Roll I guess( and pretty rockin' at that), whatever, not bad for a buck. For all of your trivial needs, this record was produced by Flo and Eddie from The Turtles. Here's two from side 2
